Concept
A unique structure located within the MCAST Institute for the Creative Arts, designed as a quiet retreat where students can relax, work, or step away from the busier school environment. The proposal occupies a restricted 8m x 8m x 8m area and integrates an enclosed glazed interior with an open rooftop. Natural light floods the interior through multiple glass walls, while earthy tones introduce warmth and foster a connection with the surrounding landscape. Together, the indoor and rooftop areas create a serene environment that supports both focused study and informal social interaction.
